Dr Nabeela Amien is a South African physician who completed her specialization in Family Medicine at the University of Cape Town. Her approach to primary healthcare is holistic, with a focus on preventative healthcare, mental health, chronic disease management and the well-being of women and children.
Apart from a wealth of experience in primary healthcare, Dr Amien has also held senior positions at the Northern Hospital, West Gippsland Health, and Werribee Mercy Hospital. She has also contributed to research and undergraduate medical curriculum planning at Monash and Melbourne Universities’ Departments of General Practice. Currently, she serves as a peer reviewer for the SA Family Practice Journal.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Nabeela enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her husband and two cats.
